Sisters In Islam: Volunteer with SIS
Promoting an understanding of Islam that recognises the principles of
justice, equality, freedom, and dignity within a democratic nation state

Volunteer with SIS

SIS is a constant hive of activity. We strive to provide a bright and cheerful volunteer environment, and welcome those who share our vision and commitment to make this world a better place, in big and small ways.

We seek to establish a pool of volunteers who can help us conduct internal as well as external activities. Regular commitment is very much appreciated. Please contact us if you are able to help us in any of the following areas:

Trained lawyers (particularly Shari'ah lawyers) can share expertise by providing legal advice, support and pro-bono work.

Volunteers are most welcome to help SIS in activities for International Women's Day, 16 Days Activism Against Gender Violence, and any other events.

Volunteers can do charity and enrich your knowledge at the same time, by performing Resource Centre tasks such as sorting out newspaper cuttings, cataloguing of library materials and performing housekeeping and general administrative work.

If you possess other areas of expertise that are not highlighted above and for further information on how you can help SIS, please contact Operations Manager, Rosezaini Mansor, at
